£50.00
Course Date:Â Wednesday, 11th November 2026
Time of Course:Â 2pm to 5pm
Cost: £50 to include refreshments plus materials charge
During this half day workshop you will learn how to create an unique Rag Rug Wreath.
Having learnt how to use the tools including a latch hook, you will then create flowers from pure wool blanket yarn. The flowers are then formed into a wreath. The blanket yarn is a waste product created by the weaving industry during blanket making. The yarn has been sourced by the tutors from a local mill in Lancashire, and means less going to landfill.
There is a materials charge of £10 payable direct to the tutors which includes your own personal latch hook, blanket yarn, hessian and template. You will leave with the knowledge, skill and materials to finish your wreath at home, and create more. There will be additional supplies available to purchase on the day.
Your tutors, Alison and Lorraine, live locally and are experienced tutors. They admit to being Rag Rug addicts – so watch out!
Homemade refreshments will be available throughout the session.
If we are fully booked please get in touch to be put on a waiting list or find out about further dates available.
