Christmas Indian Block Printing

Course Date:  Wednesday, 18th November 2026
Time of Course:  10am to 12.30pm
Cost: £50 to include refreshments

During the workshop you will learn the technique for block printing using Indian carved blocks.  Once you have mastered the technique, you will design your own T-towel and learn how to set the images.  You can then also design a Santa Sack or a set of 10 Christmas cards.  All materials are supplied and included.  If you have time, and would like to create more pieces, there will be further items for sale for printing.

Indian block printing is a quick and effective way of decorating cloth and paper and has been used in India for many centuries.  For a modest cost it is possible to purchase blocks and paints and continue the craft at home to decorate cushions, aprons, cards…… it is addictive and fun for all the family!

Homemade refreshments will be available throughout the session.
