During this two hour session your tutor Steph will teach you how to use the tools to cut and break glass safely; understand what happens to glass during the firing process; use different forms of glass to create patterns, textures and images, and use foils and other materials to create interesting reactions in glass.
At the end of the session your creations will be taken by Steph to be fired. Once finished she will return them to Hare Hill Barn ready for collection. If you are unable to come back to collect, we can arrange for them to be posted but there will be an addional charge for the postage. They will be ready well in advance of Christmas!
This workshop is suitable for complete beginners. All tools, materials and safety equipment will be provided. However, due to the nature of the craft, please can you ensure you are wearing closed, sturdy shoes . If you wear reading glasses, it is also advisable to bring these for the close detail work.
Homemade refreshments are available throughout the session.
If we are fully booked please get in touch to be put on a waiting list or find out about further dates available.
